About Us

                  Thanks for taking an interest in our website, choosing a gunsmith can be a little like choosing a dentist or

                         or anything along those lines when good work is a must. If at any time you have questions about what we

                         do feel free to call or drop us an email and we'll answer the questions or address the concerns you have.

                            The history of del Valle Gunsmithing goes back 24 yrs when Jaime del Valle originally opened the shop in 1982       

                         fresh from Colorado School of Trades, Jaime quickly built a reputation for exceptional gun work while            

                 specializing in 1911 work, both raceguns and carry guns. I joined on around 1994 as an apprentice and in

                 2004 I bought and took over the business offering the same attention to detail that I had been taught.     

                      My specialty is 1911s, Browning Hi Powers, and Smith&Wesson revolvers. While I might not build

                 something wild, what I do build works when you need it.

                 We're also general gunsmithing shop but besides repairs and the usual stuff we also do quite a bit of rifle   

                  and shotgun work, from muzzle brakes to full rifle builds. Give us a call and see what we might be able to
